Meredith Lane Caulfield moves to Blythwick, New Hampshire with her husband expecting that it will kill her aspirations to become an investigative criminal journalist. Nothing happens in those small towns, so what is there to write about? She quickly finds that there is quite a lot that goes on in this little town, especially considering there is a centuries-old family of witches — the Blackwells — that have lived there for generations and a secret society of witch hunters that hunt them.

What she doesn't expect are the feelings she develops for the charming, historic house on the hill — and for the witch who lives there. She soon discovers it's not only the secret society she has to worry about, but a curse that has plagued the Blackwells for hundreds of years. And the only hope she has to break it is to try to uncover the mystery of how it all happened in the first place.

All That Grows in the Old Hallows is a story about the inherent magic in being true to yourself and discovering your true found family against all odds.
